Ever since I was a little girl, I had an obsession with cheese puffs. I would get the large container, which was my go-to snack. I didn’t know the difference between an unhealthy snack and a healthy one. I associated healthy snacks with vegetables, which I considered to be tasteless and undesirable for any kid to eat. Little did I know years of eating unhealthy contributed to a fat build-up in my liver that led to multiple health issues later on in my life.
I knew I had to change the way I ate and what I put into my body. I craved for a healthier lifestyle. One where I could eat delicious snacks and not feel guilty about it in the end. It was definitely hard going from years of eating bad food and snacks to making smarter choices in what I consumed. I wish I had the knowledge I now have, back then. But it’s never too late to take that step, to a healthier and happier life.
Recently, I was in Target and picked up a big container of cheese puffs and that was when I stopped myself and put it back on the shelf. I immediately got on my phone and searched for a healthier equivalent snack. With that being said, that was when I discovered Shrewd Food. The new low carb protein puffs! I asked myself, “Could there really be a snack packed with all the right ingredients stuffed in a small puffball?” The answer was right there on the package. Shrewd Food is an all-natural snack that is high in protein, low in carb, non-GMO, and gluten-free. It really does live up to the hype!
I’ve even introduced this snack to my little brother who is a non-verbal kid with a disability. He loves tasty snacks and if he keeps going in the pantry for more, that’s when you know it’s yummy. I love that Shrewd Food has a variety of different flavors to choose from. This makes it fun for the kids and it’s really important to teach the little ones from now about making healthier choices when it comes to eating. Shrewd Food to the rescue!
Shrewd Food caters to every occasion; it’s the perfect snack for parties, book clubs, stocking stuffers for the holidays, and an excellent addition to party bags. My favorite puffs are the “Brick Oven Pizza” which I eat when I am doing a Netflix and chill night. Then there’s the “Cookies and Cream” that I add to my ice cream sundaes and the protein croutons, which makes an excellent topper for my Caesar salads. I just about have every important meal of the day covered with a Shrewd Food snack!
But, the best part is the size! The small bag makes it easy to throw in your bag and take it on the go with you. Then they are expanding their line with a bigger bag, which is perfect for sharing.
